The NGRL Universal Browser provides a single, gene-centric view of genetic variation from multiple data sources, annotated with HGVS numbering. We specifically aim to support genes which are tested by the UK genetic testing network. Currently 450 genes are available in the Browser. A static copy of much variant data (including dbSNP 132 and several locus-specific databases) is used, providing access to 627972 variants. On top of this, databases such as DMuDB are dynamically loaded (and thus will always be the most up-to-date version available). Currently 25 variant databases are available in total.
We are currently working on dynamic access to a much greater number of databases. We are also seeking your feedback regarding the Universal Browser.
